Angus is from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Angus was a dominant player in the underage national championships growing up. In 2019 whilst playing cricket in the UK, Angus’ club cricket form was so strong it led to him being picked to play 2nd XI cricket for Surrey. Ahead of the 2020/21 Premier cricket season in QLD, Angus was announced captain of the Sunshine Coast team.
