Bio

Tom is a highly rated batsman capable of opening the batting in all forms as well as having middle order experience. He made his First Class debut for Worcestershire in 2014 and he scored his first century in 2015 followed by 2 more the following year.

In 2016 he also established himself as a force in T20 cricket hitting a 54 ball 127. Mid way through 2017 Tom moved to Yorkshire where in 2019 he was the Yorkshire leading run scorer across all formats which led to him being picked in the England Lions squad for the Australian Summer. He has had captaincy experience with Yorkshire in 2019 and 2020 and was part of England’s initial white ball training squad in 2020. Tom is regarded highly as a global T20 player and has had stints in PSL and T10.

For the last year Tom has been an ambassador for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and looks forward to doing a lot more work over the coming year with them. His other loves outside of cricket include travel and of course his two dogs, his blue staffy and a miniture cockapoo. During lockdown earlier this year, Tom also started a property business with his brother, focusing on the residental market.
