A tall, versatile running player, Jordan Ridley was selected with pick 22 in the 2016 National Draft. Ridley’s strength overhead and elite kicking are key features of his game and are what makes him an impactful player no matter where he is on the ground.
Ridley made his AFL debut in Round 9, 2018 and picked up 25 disposals. A minor knee injury held him to three senior games for the season, but he excited fans and showed he was capable of playing at the senior level.
With his best football to date being having been played down back, Ridley has shown his greatest attribute is playing as a key defender while providing crucial rebound. The composed and courageous player will only improve as he develops into a more consistent role.
