Silvagni was selected by the Carlton Football Club with the 53rd pick in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft under the father son rule. Jack is the third generation of Silvagni’s to represent the Carlton Football Club and is now joined by his younger brother Ben.

Silvagni made his debut against Collingwood in Round 15 at the MCG where he immediately showed his class at the top level collecting 15 disposals across half forward. This was more than enough to retain his spot for the remaining 7 games for 2016 season and start the 2017 season with momentum.

Silvagni didn’t disappoint playing 20 games in the 2017 seasonĀ  and earning a Rising Star nomination in round 13 against the Gold Coast Suns where he booted two goals from 13 disposals. Silvagni has showed versatility having played a number of roles across half forward, midfield and half back. In round 16 against Melbourne Silvagni displayed signs of class gathering 18 disposals and kicking 3 goals.

Having now played 60 Senior AFL Games Silvagni will look to further develop his game and help lift the emerging Blues up the ladder in season 2020.
