Bayley Fritsch is a late bloomer who has quickly repaid the Melbourne Demons for their faith in him. Overlooked as a junior for the Eastern Ranges TAC Cup squad, Fritsch spent three years with the Casey Scorpions in the VFL before Melbourne selected him in the 2017 National Draft.
As a forward, Fritsch is strong in the air, clean at ground level and possesses a booming kick. He made his debut in Round 1 of 2018 and has barely missed a beat since. As a mature age recruit, Fritsch has made the most of his opportunity in the AFL and celebrated his 50th AFL game in Round 6 of 2020.
