TLA creates more Magic for NRL in Brisbane

The NRL’s now-annual Magic Round was another big success  in May  and TLA was in the thick of the action, delivering for our clients on and off the pitch.

Our Media | Tech team ran an incredible LED operation, while our Consultancy was in full swing activating the Ampol Deck.

As those on the ground can attest to, the *magic* was in the air in and around Lang Park as arguably Brisbane’s biggest sporting festival was bought to life. With the action from all 16 teams delivering plenty of highlights, action and talking points.  Well done to all our team who helped make the magic happen!

The Deck provided a VIP experience for guests, offering world-class views of the field, as well as fully catered food and beverage, and visits from NRL legends. 
 
Magic Round also saw Ampol’s ‘Score a Try with Ampol’ initiative come to life to help support local Primary Schools that have been affected by recent flooding in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW. Ampol donated $500 for every try scored to three deserving Primary Schools over all three match days, with $28,000 raised over the weekend! 
 
TLA hosted a media call with Ampol’s two NRL ambassadors, Kalyn Ponga and Tom Trbojevic. The Courier Mail and Channel 9 received exclusive access to the ambassadors, which resulted in great coverage for Ampol across both platforms.
