Secures South Australian Tourism contract

Australia’s leading sports marketing agency, TLA Worldwide, has secured a two-year contract extension with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) to provide PR services for the Superloop Adelaide 500.

Australia’s leading sports marketing agency, TLA Worldwide, has secured a two-year contract extension with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) to provide PR services for the Superloop Adelaide 500.

The contract extension will see TLA’s experience with the largest domestic motorsport event in Australia extend to nine events, with the inclusion of 2021 and 2022.

TLA’s General Manager – Marketing & Communications, Laura McLachlan, said TLA is thrilled to secure the contract extension after another successful campaign in 2020.

“The Superloop Adelaide 500 is a world class event that showcases the city to potential visitors all over the world. It is an important part of South Australia’s major events strategy and we are proud to play a part in this,” said McLachlan.

“The two-year contract extension strengthens TLA’s position in the Adelaide market, as well as the Motorsport and Major Events landscape nationally.

TLA has cemented its position as a leader in sports marketing, communications, events and talent management in the Adelaide market, bringing a bespoke approach to its local portfolio including the Adelaide Strikers, Adelaide Crows and Bridgestone Australia, as well as localised approaches for clients such as Cricket Australia and the NRL.

TLA won Mumbrella’s Sports Marketing Awards ‘PR Idea of the Year’ in both 2018 and 2019 and was shortlisted for 2019 ‘Sports Agency of the Year’, receiving a high commendation.
