Nat Fyfe joins the greats with second Brownlow Medal

Nat Fyfe 2019 Brownlow Medal

TLA’s Nat Fyfe has become just the 15th VFL/AFL player to have won multiple Brownlow Medals after being crowned the AFL’s Best & Fairest player in 2019.

Fyfe’s runaway victory capped off an incredible season for the Fremantle skipper, polling 33 votes, six more than second-placed Patrick Dangerfield on 27 and fellow TLA footballers Lachie Neale and Patrick Cripps on 26.

Fyfe, Fremantle’s first and only Brownlow medallist, added to his 2015 medal with a season that saw him poll votes in 13 matches and judged best afield in nine of those.
