For the fifth year running, TLA was engaged by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation to manage all PR activities surrounding the iconic 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix in the lead up to and during the event.
The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix is one of the highlights of the Victorian major events calendar and TLA was responsible for creating extensive media coverage in an effort to drive both broadcast viewers and ticket sales.
In the lead up to the Australian Grand Prix, TLA secured a variety of media opportunities across TV, print, radio and online. TLA also managed the media schedules of various event ambassadors in an effort to leverage key messages. Additionally, for the first time ever, TLA engaged and managed a social ambassador to promote the event in the social media space.
Once the event commenced, TLA managed all media enquiries. As part of the event PR, TLA coordinated all media calls including the Arnold Schwarzenegger open press conference that took place on the main race day.
This year, TLA secured a 25% increase on national and international coverage from previous years.
