Continuing their long-standing support of the AFL. In 2019, NAB tasked our team with reimagining how we could utilise key sponsorship ticketing assets to reward their customers with the 2019 Toyota Grand Final looming.
Leveraging key sponsorship assets, we worked with NAB to deliver a competition for NAB customers across the nation, offering 10 pairs of tickets to the AFL Grand Final and a weekend of a lifetime in Melbourne.
To enter the competition, customers had to recognise a friend, colleague, family member who they thought deserved to be rewarded with tickets to the Grand Final.
Utilising all communications channels available to NAB, we advertised the call to action for nominations including EDM customer communication, social channels, AFL fan communication channels, AFL social channels, and paid advertising.
Gaining interest from across Australia, we received over 20,000 entries into the competition. Whilst we selected 10 worthy winners to receive a pair of tickets and a weekend in Melbourne, we also produced and captured 6 winning ticket holders stories, which can be found here: NAB AFL 2019
The content series captured the winners amazing stories, and created a truly emotional journey to the AFL Grand Final for each of the participants.
