Wood Recommits to Blues

Carlton is pleased to confirm rookie Cameron Wood has recommitted to the Club.

Wood has signed on for a further two years, he made his Carlton debut in 2014 after being elevated from the rookie list to the senior list due to long-term injuries; Wood shouldered the ruck duties for six matches.

Carlton’s GM – Football Operations Andrew McKay says Wood has earned his opportunity.

“Cameron had a great finish to the season and played a number of senior games off the rookie list,” McKay said.

“We’re confident he will keep improving and we’re delighted he will be with us for the next two years.
