Drafted to Richmond with selection 52 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, Nathan is a medium midfielder with good speed and elite endurance. On the back of an impressive year with the Murray Bushrangers, he was a standout at the NAB AFL Draft Combine, finishing first in the clean hands test (26/30) and second in both the repeat sprint (23.95 sec) and beep test (level 15.9). Was equal-second in the kicking test (27/30), goalkicking test (25/30) and standing vertical jump (76cm), fifth in both the running vertical jump (90cm) and 3km time trial (9:59) and equal-sixth in the 20m sprint (2.93 sec). He made his debut in 4, 2015 against Melbourne. Nathan started really well but unfortunately he was stretchered from the ground during the second quarter after injuring his knee in a marking contest. The subsequent diagnosis of a severe anterior cruciate injury resulted in a season ending operation/rehabilitation. The club is confident he will return to the field in 2016.
