Hinge is a competitive left-footed utility who is able to play across the ground. He is an exceptional one-on-one player whilst his disposal is of equal praise. Hinge’s skill set was on show at a number of levels in 2016 including the 2016 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships where he showcased his ability for South Australia. Furthermore, Hinge was part of Glenelg’s SANFL Under 18 Premiership as well as NAB’s All Stars game in AFL Grand Final Week. The younger brother of former Adelaide Crow, John Hinge, Mitchell was selected by Brisbane with pick 20 in the 2016 NAB AFL Rookie Draft. Hinge’s skill set displays ample reasons for selection and will look to further develop his game and push for his senior debut in the 2018 season.
