Sunshine Coast Lightning
Kelsey Browne is a current player for the Sunshine Coast Lightning, playing between C and WA. Kelsey came to prominence in 2010 when she represented Australia in the 19/U team as an 18 year old. She continued her form throughout the early stages of her career, again representing the 19/U team in 2011 and the 21/U team in 2012.
Whilst representing Australia at the 19/U and 21/U level, Kelsey also played a pivotal role in the success of the ANL side, the Victorian Fury. During her time at the Victorian Fury, she was a part of three ANL championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Furthermore, Kelsey finished her career at the Fury in 2015 on the back of a dominant year where she was awarded the club’s MVP as well as filling a permanent replacements role for the Melbourne Vixens in the ANZ Championship.
After a strong 2016 season, Kelsey has earned herself a spot in the inaugural Sunshine Coast Lightning Squad ahead of the 2017 season. Kelsey looks to impose herself as a proven mid-courter amongst a very competitive squad.
