Jesse Hogan is a key position forward that was selected by the Melbourne Football Club with the 2nd pick in the 2012 AFL Mini Draft. Hogan faced a later start to his career, due to being drafted as a 17 year old Hogan was ineligible to play in 2013 and a back injury forced him to miss the 2014 season.
Hogan made his debut in round 1, 2015 against Gold Coast and went on to play 20 games, kick 44 goals and win the AFL NAB Rising Star award in his first season.
A consistent three seasons saw Hogan boot 152 goals from his 71 games for the Demons before requested a trade to Fremantle to be in his home state.
It was a frustrating first season in the purple for the star forward, limited to 12 games due to a re occurrence of his navicular injury. Despite this, Hogan gave the Fremantle fans a taste of what he can produce with a best on ground performance against GWS in Canberra where he gathered 22 disposals, 5 marks and 3 goals.
