Hailing from NEAFL club, Aspley Hornets, Harris Andrews was drafted at pick 63 in the 2014 AFL Draft following his progression from the Brisbane Lions Academy program.
The 202cm utility, who has predominantly played as a key defender has shown versatility and leadership in a young Lions group. His tall build and presence around the ground will play an important part in the club’s structure going forward. Andrews also has the ability to drift forward and hit the scoreboard when needed.
Andrews played all 22 games during the 2017 season as he further imposed himself in the senior team’s line-up. Averaging 13 disposals a game and 6.3 marks during 2017, Andrews has effectively displayed his defensive capabilities and the importance he plays in winning the ball in the air.
