Cedric Cox

Halls Creek, Western Australia

North Ballarat Rebels / Brisbane Lions

Cedric Cox was selected by the Brisbane Lions with the 26th Pick in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft. Cox moved from Western Australia to Victoria as a teenager to pursue his AFL dream where he played under 18’s for North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup. It was here that Cox showed his Speed, Skill and Versatility which caught the eye of the recruiters.

Cedric made his debut for the Lions in Round 4, 2017 where he went on to play 8 AFL games and finish the season as a NEAFL Premiership player. 2018 only saw 4 AFL appearances for the dashing half back but a big 2019 pre-season will hopefully see more consistent AFL performances from Cedric.
