A tall all-rounder who bats in the middle order and bowls offspin, Ashton Turner enjoyed a breakout summer in 2016-17, which culminated in a call-up to Australia’s Twenty20 side to play against Sri Lanka in February 2017.


During the 2016/17 season he scored his maiden first class century, 110 against Tasmania and followed that up with 100 against Queensland two matches later. Turner made his first class debut in 2013, when he was called into Australia’s XI in a tour match against Sussex having been playing club cricket in England at the time.


Ashton Turner is currently involved and playing for the Perth Scorchers in the BBL league and the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL league. He made his ODI debut for Australia in March 2019 – leading Australia to a win in his second game scoring 84 runs not out off 43 balls to gain Man of the Match honours.
