Aaron Finch is the current T20 captain of the Melbourne Renegades who can change momentum of a match in a single over against both pace and spin.
Finch, from Colac in the South West of Victoria, is currently sitting second on the all-time Big Bash League leading run scorers with an average of 43.36 in the process. He wrote himself into the International records books with a devastating 156 off just 63 balls including 14 sixes against England in 2013.
Finch piled on an unbeaten 288 against New Zealand in a tour match in Blacktown in 2015-16 which is his highest first class score. He was a member of Victoria’s successful Sheffield Shield campaign in 2016/17 top scoring with 83 in the second innings.
Finch was a part of the successful 2015 Australian World Cup campaign and was granted Man of the Match in the opening game after smashing 135 in his world cup debut. He is a very in demand batsman in the shortest form of the game currently representing Gujarat Lions in the IPL and Surrey in the NatWest Blast.
