Let’s Fill the MCG for the Women’s T20 World Cup
TLA have been proud to be involved in a number of activities urging Victorians to “Fill the MCG” on March 8 for the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Across our PR, Events and Creative, Content & Digital teams, we’ve worked with Cricket Australia, the Local Organising Committee and the various tourism bodies to execute a campaign that will attempt to break the world attendance record at a stand-alone women’s sporting event.
Starting at Bondi Beach, the Women’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour driven by Nissan has crossed the country visiting iconic locations around Australia bringing communities and cultures together.

It was a joy for TLA to be able to help @t20worldcup launch the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour with a game of beach cricket on Bondi Beach. ? The Trophy now moves to Western Sydney over the weekend and will cover over 14,000 kilometres around the country, visiting over 40 locations showcasing stories about inspiring women from communities across Australia – a nod to the tournament campaign ‘It’s the Big Dance, and the women are leading’ – TLA will be supporting with event logistics and PR throughout the tour.
The Trophy Tour arrived at the MCG via a ‘Race to the MCG’ – a content piece, produced, shot and edited by our Digital team.
