Jameis Winston has now thrown for 10,000 career yards in 40 games
Although Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is only 23-years-old, he has already accomplished quite a bit in his young career and has proven that he’s only getting started. At least that was the case against the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday.
During the first half of the Bucs’ matchup featuring Drew Brees and company, Winston accomplished a new milestone in his NFL career. Against New Orleans, Winston threw a handful of darts that helped him reach and surpass 10,000 career yards in just 40 games under center.
Although the young quarterback struggles with accuracy, protecting the football and narrowing his interceptions down at times, Tampa Bay’s signal caller manages to prove time and time again that he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him in the NFL and his road to flourishing into an elite quarterback is only really beginning, especially after becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 career yards in his first two seasons at the helm last year
