TLA managed the PR for the largest fun run in the southern hemisphere, the Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac for the second time in 2015. This campaign encompassed all PR and media in the lead up to the event as well as media management on event day.
During the pre-event promotion of the City2Surf, TLA worked closely with key stakeholders including naming rights sponsor Westpac, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, additional major sponsors and our solid media contacts to achieve positive outcomes.
The TLA team managed all media activities on event day including liaising with the official broadcast partner, Channel Seven to produce content for the live Sunrise OB at the event (start line, finish line and heartbreak hill), managing accredited media interviews and live-crosses from the start line and finish line and pitching radio interviews with winners post event.
TLA secured more than $25 million worth of PR for the event in 2015 with coverage reaching almost 45 million in circulation.
