Building on the 2 week Social Media event management from 2016, TLA were engaged to manage the PR and media as well as a 4 month social media campaign for one of the biggest events in the Northern Territory – the 2017 CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown.
PR and social media strategies were developed and implemented, complimenting one another to gain the widest coverage and reach around the NT in the lead up to the event. Impactful media activities were created to build patron and public engagement, and favourable awareness towards the event, encouraging ticket sales and maintaining strong corporate hospitality uptake.
During event week, TLA managed media accreditation and the media centre and were also in charge of event crisis/issue management, facilitating media requests and liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to set up media events at the track and around Darwin. Through pre-existing strong relationships, TLA were able to maximise media activities and facilitate last minute requests including a front/back page wrap for the NT News.
